Mirit

 

Mirit Weinstock is a fashion designer, jewelry designer and artist who lives and works between Tel Aviv and Paris.

Mirit has worked alongside masters, such as Alexander McQueen and Albar Elbaz. In their studios she specialized in couture fashion and its relation to crafts.
She launched her own fashion label in 2004, and in 2011 her own jewelry label, both of which are successful internationally. In 2013 Mirit graduated Bezalel’s Master’s program in Fine Arts.

Mirit Weinstock Jewelry is an international, high end luxury crafts jewelry label.
Drawing her inspiration from childhood memories, classic fashion periods and the natural world Mirit Weinstock presents an original, dreamy poetic jewelry collection with a touch of humor.
In her jewelry Mirit uses materials such as Shuttlecock feathers, raffia fibers, eyelashes, garland and paper, she transfers them into jewelry working with silver, gold and pearls.


Her modern approach of jewelry and bold combinations of materials led her to win international recognition and to have her work exhibited at top boutiques around the world such Isetan Tokyo, Hankyu Osaka, Opening Ceremony, Fenwick, London. Mirit Was selected for “Vogue Talents Italy” in 2012.


In 2013 Mirit graduated from a Master of Fine Arts at the Bezalel academy, Tel Aviv.
During her MFA studies, Mirit explored new Medias and routes of creation, her art work include video arts, sound works, text work and sculpture.

In March 2015 Mirit presented her first solo exhibition "Love Does(nt) Exist" at Periscope Gallery Tel Aviv curated by Martin Kiefer the head of contemporary art at the Louvre, Paris.
